RECREATIONAL GYMNASTICS CLASSES
Recreational gymnastics classes are for beginner and intermediate gymnasts with limited experience.
There are two levels: Level 1 & Level 2, and they are divided into age groups. Recreational Classes are for girls ages 6-12 who are interested in learning basic gymnastics skills, strength, and flexibility.

Each 4-week session is 55 minutes long once a week and are offered throughout the year. Recreational classes follow the USA Gymnastics skills progression.

HIGH SCHOOL TRAINING PROGRAM
The High School Training Program is for HS girls interested in training more hours during the off-season. The skill requirements and expectations for HS gymnastics is similar to USAG Level 9. Training during the off-season helps gymnasts keep acquired skills and train new, more advanced skills and combinations. Gymnasts practice 2.5 hours three times a week.

Middle School Training Program begins in June 2022.

CHEERLEADING TUMBLING CLASSES
This class is for cheerleaders who want to improve their tumbling and cheer jumps.
Tumbling training will focus on front and back walkovers, front and back handsprings, front and back saltos, round-off back handspring series, and round-off back handspring with saltos. Classes are 1 hour once a week and are offered throughout the year. The Black Tumbling group is for HS students; Orange Tumbling is for students in grades 1st-8th grades.

COMPETITIVE GYMNASTICS

Xcel Competitive Team
Girls interested in competitive gymnastics have mastered basic skills, strength, and flexibility and are looking to show off their skills in a competitive environment. Gymnasts must tryout to make the team and have experience working the required skills for each level. All competitive teams for LPGC are members of USA Gymnastics. Competition costs are in addition to monthly tuition.
Xcel Divisions Silver, Gold, Platinum, & Diamond
Xcel is a very competitive option for girls who want to compete and train for the MS or HS Teams. There are specific skills and training requirements for each level. The Xcel program is great for gymnasts who want to participate in other school sports in addition to gymnastics.
Girls who are interested in competitive gymnastics must schedule a tryout session with Coach LaRocco to determine which competitive team and level is best matched for the gymnast. Team tryouts for first-year competitors will be in December for the spring season. Gymnasts with prior competitive experience can try out after spring break 2023. Gymnasts compete in local and regional meets and a qualifying state meet for the team. Gymnasts can participate in LPGC competitive gymnastics and school sponsored gymnastics programs.
